Bay Area Postdoc Symposium 2017

The 2017 Bay Area Postdoc Symposium will take place on June 10th at the Buck Institute.
#BAPS2017 is co-organized by the Postdoc Associations of the Buck Institute, UC Berkeley, Stanford University, Gladstone Institutes and UCSF.

It will be a great chance to learn about the research of many of our colleagues across the Bay Area, exchange new ideas and socialize.

Science communication will be the main focus this year. We are putting together a programme that will hopefully emphasize the value of being able to engage large audiences and strike the right balance of storytelling and scientific rigor. We believe these skills are both crucial to long-term career success, as well as timely given the current climate of misinformation and threats to science funding.
